The brothers believed their father took the loss to Guy as a disgrace. On his deathbed he commanded them to fight Guy. Since then the three patiently waited for their chance for revenge. | Akahigi • Hyakki no Souen is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppet master Sasori that is said to have brought down a whole country. The skill of a puppet master is said to be proportional to the number of puppets they can manipulate at one time. In his puppet form, Sasori has been able to greatly increase the number of chakra strings he can emit from his body at one time. A normal puppet master like Chiyo limits herself to ten strings and puppets, focusing on quality over quantity. For Sasori, this technique goes for the brute force approach, seeking to overwhelm his opponent. To start the technique, Sasori will remove the summoning scroll from his back. Opening his right chest compartment, he will emit approximately a hundred chakra strings to reach into the scroll and control the puppets. These puppets are former opponents of Sasori's who he has made into hitokugutsu puppets. This allows the puppets to retain the skills and abilities they used in life. For that reason many of the puppets will retain the weapons they once used.

Kankurou will use Karasu to manuever his target unknowingly into Kuroari's opened chest. Once inside it will immediately close to prevent their escape. Acting quickly, Kankurou will break apart the limbs of Karasu, with each limb popping out a deadly poisoned knife point. Using his Kuroari puppet, Kankurou will distract his opponent in some way, either by another ninja or possibly using Karasu. With the opponent distracted, Kuroari will move into position behind them. Kankurou will open the chest cavity and emit wire to ensnare his target. They will then be pulled into the chest cavity. Blades will then run through the chest cavity carving the unfortunate soul inside to pieces.

Ninpou: Mokujin Hitsugi is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Ryuudouin clan. Using their vast army of wooden training men, the three brothers will place charms on the heads of the dummies to attack their target. When the target is sufficiently surrounded, the clan members will break the wooden men down into their base parts and then combine them into long rows. These rows will stack and combine to surround their target and isolate them from the outside world. The wooden parts will be imbued with the clan member's chakra and be greatly strengthened as a result. If enough power is placed against the structure however, it can come crashing apart.

After forming a hand seal, a great suction will draw in all the surrounding targets to the area between their bodies. Once the sucked in materials reach this area they are broken down into nothingness in the swirling vortex.

| Shintenkugutsu Juin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that allows the Yamanaka clan member to place the mind of the victim into a puppet rather than their own body. After transferring his body into that of a puppet, Fuu's body will become defenseless. Fuu will manipulate it to throw a weapon at the victim ninja. Should the ninja catch the weapon and launch it back into the puppet, the curse tag on the puppet will activate and the victim will find their mind in that of the puppet. Because of the curse seal, the victim will be unable to manipulate the puppet's body. Fuu himself will change places with the victim and take control of their body. Like normal Shintenshin, Fuu will be unable to inflict injury on the victim's body without also being injured himself. For this reason, Fuu can create a situation where his victim's body is hurt but he is not. He can do this by binding the victim's body so they have no chance of escape and then putting them in a situation where harm cannot be avoided after he leaves their body moments before. A skilled enough ninja can detect Fuu's presence in their comrade's body and end the jutsu before Fuu can complete his goals.

| Fuuinjutsu • Shishi Heikou is created by one of the ten Chikamatsu puppets. This seal prevents the one sealed from manipulating chakra. There are two methods for this seal. In the first, the puppet will expel a hazy orb from its mouth which can be thrown. While flying through the air, the orb will lose it's haze and grow in size to a huge gaping beast-like head. The large teeth can grab ahold of the person it hits and pin them to a wall. Once the it impacts the wall, it will immediately release the seal onto the surface. In the second form, the main puppet will expel the seal from its mouth onto a surface it is touching.
